The story behind Witcha Code
Witcha Code started in early 2023 when three colleagues — a software developer, a data scientist, and a language teacher — found themselves answering the same kinds of questions from friends who wanted to get into programming but didn't know where to begin.
What they noticed was that most online courses moved faster than most people could absorb, and that learners often disappeared before they finished because they got stuck and had nobody to ask. The three of them decided to try building something different: a small, structured school where a real mentor follows each learner's progress and answers questions in plain language.
The first cohort had eleven students. The current cohort has over two hundred. The approach hasn't changed — relaxed pace, honest descriptions, mentor feedback, and a clear path from the first line of code to building something with AI.

To make coding and applied AI accessible to anyone willing to learn steadily, regardless of their starting point or prior background.
Our Vision
A learner in Bangkok with no prior experience should have access to the same quality of mentor feedback and structured practice as someone at a well-resourced university.

Arjun Wattana
Lead Instructor & Co-founder
Software developer with nine years' experience across fintech and edtech. Arjun designs and teaches the Applied AI Project Track, focusing on building real applications step by step.
Nattaya Petch
Data Science Mentor & Co-founder
Nattaya holds an MSc in Computer Science and spent five years working on data pipelines in Bangkok. She leads the Models and Data Track and writes most of the guided projects.
Sirilak Khunthong
Curriculum Lead & Co-founder
A former English teacher who moved into instructional design. Sirilak shapes how concepts are sequenced and explained in all three tracks, with a particular focus on beginners.
Phakin Tanaphan
Python Mentor
Phakin reviews code submissions for the Models and Data Track and holds weekly check-in sessions. He has a background in scientific computing and genuinely enjoys explaining tricky concepts.
Warangkana Srisuk
Learner Support
Warangkana is the first person learners hear from when they send a question or enquiry. She manages onboarding and keeps track of how each cohort is progressing.
Chanat Lertchai
Beginner Track Mentor
Chanat specialises in working with complete beginners. He gives feedback on the Coding Starter Track exercises and remembers clearly what it felt like to write his own first function.
How We Work
Standards We Hold Ourselves To
These aren't marketing phrases. They're the things we check ourselves against when we review a track or respond to a learner.
Honest Track Descriptions
Each track page describes exactly what it covers, how long it takes, what level it assumes, and what a learner will be able to do at the end. Nothing is hidden behind vague language.
Timely Mentor Responses
Mentors aim to respond to submitted exercises within two working days. We think waiting a week for feedback is too long and breaks the learning rhythm.
Learner Privacy
We collect only the information needed to run a track. Submissions are reviewed by assigned mentors only. We do not share learner data with third parties for advertising.
Structured Curriculum Review
All three tracks are reviewed every six months. If a topic has become outdated or a section consistently confuses learners, we revise it before the next cohort starts.
Small Cohort Sizes
We limit cohorts so mentors can give meaningful attention to each learner. We'd rather turn away a new applicant than let quality slip.
Questions Are Always Welcome
We make a point of responding to every question — not just from enrolled learners but from anyone considering a track who wants to understand more before they decide.
About Our Approach
Teaching AI development with patience and clarity
Witcha Code operates from Bangkok Noi and serves learners across Thailand, offering online tracks in Python programming, data handling, model training, and applied AI application development. Each track is designed around the learner's current level rather than an assumed background.
The Coding Starter Track introduces programming through small, self-contained exercises that build steadily without overwhelming someone new to the field. The goal is to make the first few weeks feel approachable, not intimidating.
The Models and Data Track moves into practical work with datasets and supervised learning methods. Learners write real code against real data, with a mentor reviewing each submission and offering specific, useful feedback rather than generic comments.
The Applied AI Project Track brings everything together in a thirteen-week build, taking learners from an initial idea through design, implementation, and a working prototype. Mentor support continues throughout the entire process.
